1 What is the Member Portal?

The Seeds Member Portal is a private, secure area of your church's Seeds platform where you can view your personal giving records, see your tithe and offering history, and keep your personal information up to date.

Only you can access your own records. Church officers can see giving summaries but your portal is accessed with your personal membership number and PIN.

Your privacy matters. Your giving records are visible only to you and authorized church officers. No other member can see your information.

2 How to Log In

To access your portal, visit your church's Seeds page (e.g. seedsfinances.com/?church=ascension) and follow these steps:

    On the login screen, click the Member card.

    Enter your Membership Number in the field provided. This is the number assigned to you by your church (e.g. PCG/ASC/001).
  3. 3
    Enter your 4-digit PIN using the number pad. Your default PIN is the last 4 digits of your registered phone number.

    If your number and PIN match, you will be taken straight to your dashboard.
Can't log in? Double-check your membership number — it's case-sensitive and must match exactly. If you've forgotten your PIN or don't have one, contact your church officer to have it reset.

3 Your Dashboard

Once logged in, your dashboard gives you a quick overview of your giving activity. At the top you'll see your name, membership number, and most recent giving date.

The summary cards show:

Last GivingThe date of your most recent recorded contribution.

Use the Year dropdown at the top to switch between years and see your giving history for each.

4 Viewing Your Giving History

Your dashboard displays two summary breakdowns and a full giving history table.

Breakdown by TypeShows how much you gave in each category (Tithe, Welfare, Special Offering, etc.) for the selected year.
Monthly SummaryShows your giving totals grouped by month.
Giving HistoryA full list of every recorded contribution — date, type, and amount.
Notice a mistake? If you see a record that looks incorrect, please contact your church officer. Members cannot edit giving records directly — only officers can make corrections.

5 Editing Your Profile

You can update your personal information directly from the Member Portal. Scroll down to the My Profile section at the bottom of your dashboard and click Edit.

The following fields can be updated:

Full NameYour full name as it appears in church records.
Phone NumberYour current contact number including country code (e.g. +1 555 000 0000).
AddressYour home or mailing address.
Date of BirthYour date of birth in the format YYYY-MM-DD.
Day BornThe day of the week you were born (Sunday through Saturday).
Membership No. lockedCannot be changed. Contact your church officer if there is an error.

    Click Edit in the My Profile section.

    Update any fields you'd like to change.

    Click Save Changes. Your information is updated immediately in the church database.

    To discard changes, click Cancel instead.
Changes are live. When you save your profile, church officers will see your updated information the next time they open your member record.

6 Logging Out

To leave the Member Portal, click the ← Back button at the top right of your dashboard. This will return you to the login screen.

Security tip. Always use the Back button to exit rather than simply closing the browser tab, especially on a shared or public device. The portal will also automatically sign you out after 5 minutes of inactivity.

7 Frequently Asked Questions

I forgot my PIN. What do I do?
Contact your church officer or admin. They can reset your PIN in the Members section of the Seeds app.

My membership number isn't working.
Make sure you're entering it exactly as given — including any letters and slashes (e.g. PCG/ASC/001). If you're unsure of your number, ask your church officer.

I see a giving record that doesn't look right.
Only church officers can edit or delete giving records. Please contact your officer and they can review and correct the entry.

Can other members see my giving records?
No. Your giving records are private. Only you and authorized church officers have access to your personal giving history.

I updated my profile but my name didn't change at the top.
Try scrolling back up — the header updates automatically after saving. If it still shows the old name, log out and log back in.

The portal shows the wrong year.
Use the Year dropdown near the top of your dashboard to select the correct year.
